Reed Richards und Susan Storm alias Mr. Fantastic und Invisible Woman wollen heiraten - wieder einmal. Dieses Mal stört der geheimnisvolle Silver Surfer die Zeremonie. Dort, wo er auftaucht, hinterlässt er Zerstörung, und zwar letztlich die ganzer Planeten.
